In an interview posted in the current edition of the Washington post, top novelist Chimamanda remarked:
"For the most of the 12 years I have been in America, I lived in small town Connecticut, where spring was full of gold foliage and black people were so few that we waved at each other. Then I fell in love with a Nigerian Doctor who lived in Columbia Maryland."
"Weeks later we went to a catholic mass in Columbia"
I guess the amazing writer will soon be based in the DC Maryland area! We are really happy for her!

According to jamati online:
'Shirley and her Sparrow Productions outfit have done it again with her new romantic comedy titled, ‘The Perfect Picture’. The perfect picture offers a colourful and humorous insight into a fairy tale world where everything is as perfect as your life and that of your friends.
In what seems like a perfect life, three beautiful young women make bold attempts to change their lives even when destiny plays its joke on them. With a marriage that seems almost doomed from the beginning, to an affair with an unlikely candidate and the endless pursuit of love, the three friends will learn the harsh lessons of life, the challenges of marriage, the fatality of falling in love and the rewards of having a good laugh in the mist of sorrow."
The cast of the move, "the perfect picture" in an interview speak about the experience of making the movie and the director and writer of the movie, shirley frimpong-manso also speaks about the filming process in the clip below:
